This policy explains what information Hush & Halo collects when you visit
thehushandhalo.com or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

What we collect

When you place an order, we collect the information needed to fulfil it: your name,
email address, shipping address, phone number where you provide one, and the contents
of your order. Payment card details are entered directly into our payment provider's
secure checkout. We never see or store your full card number.

When you browse the site, we collect standard technical information: your device type,
browser, approximate location derived from your IP address, the pages you visit, and
how you arrived at the site.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your shopping cart working between
pages, to understand which pages people find useful, and to measure the performance of
our advertising.

We use the Meta Pixel, which shares information about your activity on this site with
Meta Platforms so that we can measure our advertising and show relevant ads. You can
control how Meta uses this information in your Meta account's ad settings, and you can
block cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking them will not stop you from
shopping, but your cart may not persist between pages.

Who we share information with

We share your information only with the companies that make the store work:

- Shopify, which hosts our store, cart and checkout
- Our payment provider, which processes your payment
- Our fulfilment partner and the shipping carriers, which pack and deliver your order
- Meta Platforms, for advertising measurement as described above
- Our email provider, if you have asked to hear from us

We do not sell your personal information.

Because our fulfilment partner operates outside your country, your name and shipping
address are transferred internationally in order to deliver your order. This is limited
to what is needed to ship to you.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we are required to for tax and accounting
purposes. You can ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal information we
hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Email
hello@thehushandhalo.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are in California, you have the right to know what personal information we
collect and to request its deletion, and the right to opt out of the sharing of your
information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Use the same email address.

Marketing email

We only send marketing email to people who have asked for it. Every message has an
unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Order and shipping
notifications are not marketing and are sent regardless.

Children

This store is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from
anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
